Due to the limitations imposed by the coronavirus, examinations may be offered as alternative examination types.
If the examination cannot be conducted in the intended form and no alternative offer is possible, the examination will be postponed to a later date.
The registration will in this case also be valid for the postponed examination.
The new date of the examination will be communicated to registered students by the examiner as soon as the examination can be held in the intended format again.
It is also possible that examinations might be postponed to the next possible examination period.
If an alternative examination type is offered, the respectively relevant information is included in the comment field of the examination in KU.Campus.
The respectively responsible examiners shall decide whether it is possible to offer an alternative examination type or whether the on-campus examination is postponed.
The usual existing regulations for withdrawal continue to apply for canceling examination registrations. These regulations are available at:

Special regulations for implementation of oral examinations in the 2020/21 winter semester
If an examination is held online (electronic remote examination), this examination must generally also offered as face-to-face examination.
Students are free to choose which examination they would like to take.
The number of places for face-to-face examinations may be limited.
Under certain circumstances, students who choose to take the examination in a face-to-face format may be referred to the next possible examination date if the examination cannot be taken in face-to-face format due to infection protection regulations.
Students can choose the examination type as follows:
When registering for an examination, students can choose between two alternativeexamination registration entries for the same examination. The entries are marked with the additional information “on-campus” or “online”.
With their REGISTRATION, students decide for the respective examination type (“Präsenz” = on-campus, or “digital” = online), i.e. whether they would like to take the examination remotely online or as a face-to-face examination on campus.
Within the examination registration period, the type of examination can still be changed ("on campus" to "online" or vice versa).
