Problems with printing PDFs

From 21.09.2020 - 16.10.2020 , printing PDF files (e.g.Transcript of Records) may not work properly ("Page has expired").

The following registration periods apply for the examinations of 2020/21 winter semester:

FH degree programs (all examinations): Nov 16 - Nov 30, 2020

University degree programs first examination period:

  • including sports examinations (all examinations, including written sports examinations): Nov 23 - Dec 10, 2020
  • without sports examinations (all examinations): Jan 18 - Feb 01, 2021

University degree programs second examination period:

  • including sports examinations (only written sports examinations): Mar 18 - Mar 24, 2021 (expected dates)
  • without sports examinations (only end-of-semester examinations): Mar 22 - Apr 06, 2021 (expected dates)

Due to the limitations imposed by the coronavirus, examinations may be offered as alternative examination types.

If the examination cannot be conducted in the intended form and no alternative offer is possible, the examination will be postponed to a later date. The registration will in this case also be valid for the postponed examination. The new date of the examination will be communicated to registered students by the examiner as soon as the examination can be held in the intended format again. It is also possible that examinations might be postponed to the next possible examination period.

If an alternative examination type is offered, the respectively relevant information is included in the comment field of the examination in KU.Campus.

The respectively responsible examiners shall decide whether it is possible to offer an alternative examination type or whether the on-campus examination is postponed.

The usual existing regulations for withdrawal continue to apply for canceling examination registrations. These regulations are available at:

Special regulations for implementation of oral examinations in the 2020/21 winter semester

If an examination is held online (electronic remote examination), this examination must generally also offered as face-to-face examination. Students are free to choose which examination they would like to take. The number of places for face-to-face examinations may be limited. Under certain circumstances, students who choose to take the examination in a face-to-face format may be referred to the next possible examination date if the examination cannot be taken in face-to-face format due to infection protection regulations.

Students can choose the examination type as follows:

When registering for an examination, students can choose between two alternativeexamination registration entries for the same examination. The entries are marked with the additional information “on-campus” or “online”. With their REGISTRATION, students decide for the respective examination type (“Präsenz” = on-campus, or “digital” = online), i.e. whether they would like to take the examination remotely online or as a face-to-face examination on campus. Within the examination registration period, the type of examination can still be changed ("on campus" to "online" or vice versa). Further detailed regulations for the 2020/21 winter semester can be found in the Corona Statutes:

https://www.ku.de/fileadmin/1903/Rechtsabteilung/Studium_und_Lehre/Allgemeines/Corona-Satzung_1.Aenderung_Senatsbeschluss_28.10.20.pdf.

Electronic remote examinations are carried out as a video conference. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data required for this purpose is Section 6 para. 1 lit. a Law on Data Protection in the Catholic Church in Germany (Gesetz über den Kirchlichen Datenschutz, KDG) in conjunction with the directive on the testing of electronic remote examinations at universities in Bavaria (Bayerische Fernprüfungserprobungsverordnung). Further information, including details on data processing, is available at:
