Students should be able - based on the basic knowledge that is transmitted in the lecture and deepenend in the seminar (see field "conent/topics") - to
- understand the specific implications of developmental changes and invariances,
- understand and critically reflect research questeions from the area of developmental psychology with regard to theoretical and methodological aspects,
- to critically contemplate original research literature from the area of developmental psychology

- overview on descriptive developmental lifespan psychology
- major non-cognitive developmental theories
- millestones of development across the lifespan
