Type of studies:	- Students expand their abilities to interpret and discuss tax policy topics based on current academic literature. They are able to do so independently, in a well-structured way and applying all rules for proper academic conduct. - They can confidently discuss complicated topics in public finance and also apply their knowledge to new questions in this area. - Students can independently understand, interpret and critically reflect on current research in public finance.
Learning objectives:
Content/topics:	The seminar studies various issues that are currently relevant for tax policy. The topics are discussed based on recent research results. We will discuss both theoretical and empirical studies.
Recommended prerequisites:	Basic knowledge of econometrics and microeconomics.

To register for this course, please contact out office (sekretariat-langenemayr@ku.de) by 06.10.2019. Master students 'Taxation' will be favored for registration. The other course places will be allocated according to the order of the registration date. You will receive a registration confirmation from us by 10.10.2019 at the latest. A course cancellation is only possible by 23.10.2019 in order to consider successors.
