Content/topics:
The course is an innovative combination of mediation of theoretical background knowledge, practice and experience using the supply chain simulation „The Fresh Connection“. The topics in detail:
Basics and decision making in supply chain management
Supplier Management
Demand Management
Capacity and Production Management
Inventory Management and Planning
Supply Chain Mapping and component characteristics
Supply Chain Strategy
Variables and KPI‘s on strategic and tactical level
External Collaboration
Recommended prerequisites:
Basic knowledge in production and logistics as well as inventory management is recommended
