Learning objectives:
Students have a solid knowledge of the basics required to express themselves effectively in English in the world(s) of business and public relations. They can demonstrate their written and spoken skills in the relevant context; e.g. business presentations, meetings and press releases with a good understanding of the nuances of register. Students are capable of expressing themselves fluently and above all spontaneously and to get their point across clearly

Aim: Level C1 (CEFR)
Content/topics:
Instruction in the essentials of effective written and spoken communication in a business/formal context; e.g. business letters and e-mails, presentations, telephoning. In addition, detailed information and orientation regarding the job market in English-speaking countries is offered; job applications and interviews are also covered in detail.
Strong emphasis on project work in small groups; e.g. prsentations, research and negotiating etc.
