competencies/skills:

Problem-oriented knowledge of the constitutional foundations, political structures and processes, and development contexts in the context of sustainable development of selected systems of government. Knowledge of the most important methods and theories of comparative politics.
Ability to present orally and in writing, to analyze as well as to reflect critically on various aspects of comparative politics in the context of a group work. Promotion of sustainable systemic thinking and multi-perspective discussion skills.

course content/topics:

Institutional and political-cultural foundations of the political system of Institutional and political-cultural foundations of the political systems of selected governmental systems including the party and association system as well as the functional logic of political processes.
Methods, issues and theories of comparative politics as well as theoretical foundations of sustainable development closely related to political structures and processes at the national and international level.
