• Students on the course receive an introduction to key concepts of entrepreneurship.
• Teamwork, presentation skills, ability to co-operate with external managers and groups.
• Overview of dimensions of (regional) sustainability and policy.
• Understanding the specific contribution of entrepreneurs and consultants to the realisation of sustainability goals in a region (including their own role in it).
• Various dimensions of sustainable regional development are reflected upon (personal and organisational aspects, ESG, social capital), perceived in their interrelationships and integrated into proposed strategies.

• Clarification of basic ethical concepts: UN sustainability goals, responsibility, co-operation in the networks
• Discussion of social framework conditions for sustainable business in the region
• Group work: Development of a strategic innovation concept for a regional social enterprise (transfer function in cooperation with the Ingolstadt BRICQ digital start-up centre).
• Testing the critical assumptions of your own concept with the relevant stakeholder group

• The solution concept (group performance) is first presented/discussed as a draft and then developed step by step. To this end, the groups are in constant contact with the course management and with practical experts.
