- Students understand how decisions are actually made and how they should be made to achieve better outcomes with respect to the decision maker’s goals.
- Students understand common (and their own) flaws in decision-making. This helps them to develop a responsible attitude towards their decisions.
- Students are familiar with the formal-mathematical methods to analyze decision-making.
- Students understand strategic interactions in decision-making.
- Students can apply the acquired knowledge to typical decision problems in the commercial sphere and in gerneral socioeconomic interactions.

Please remind to register for both tutorials (Part I and II) We are planning to have regular on-campus exams in the announced examination periods. However, we hereby inform you that we will offer a take-home exam instead in case the situation worsens rapidly and we are unable to do a regular exam. If we have to switch to a take-home exam, we will let you now. Please note that we cannot guarantee that there will be a second on-campus exam in October (there may be a second pandemic wave). If the first exam is a take-home exam, there won’t be a second exam in October. A potential take-home home exam would only be offered once.
