- Fundamental knowledge in context of a particular sociology
- Advanced knowledge and skills in the field of theory-driven empirical analysis of social phenomena
- Expanded understanding of the research process
Content/topics:
The module deals with the content of a Specific sociology, such as the sociology of deviant behavior, criminal sociology, family sociology, educational sociology, medical sociology or migration sociology. The Specific sociology is elaborated in terms of their theoretical approaches and their empirical verification. Based on existing studies, secondary analyzes are made on selected partial questions. The results of these secondary analyzes are presented and discussed in summary in a report.
